Christmas has come and gone, whether it went smoothly or with some hits along the way, but here we are, already heading toward New Year’s! For me, as I’ve mentioned before, this is always a time to slow down a bit. I like to reflect on the past year, both personally and professionally, to see what went great, what could have gone better, and where there’s room for improvement.
Today, on a cloudy La Paz day, with a cappuccino and my notebook beside me, it feels like the perfect moment for The Café del Mundo Wrap-Up!
As we close the chapter on 2024, we look back on an incredible year filled with unforgettable moments.
Café del Mundo has continued being more than just a café, it’s and has been a meeting place for amazing people from all over the world, each with their own unique stories and journeys.
This year, we’ve not only welcomed travelers seeking warmth, adventure, and connection but also expanded our mission to help them experience Bolivia to the fullest
Here are some highlights:
New Beginnings: We launched our travel blog to share tips, inspiration, and hidden gems to help travelers discover the beauty of La Paz and beyond.
Supporting Adventures: We started creating free guides and e-books packed with practical information, helping travelers feel prepared, safe, and excited to explore.
Customized Experiences: From carefully designed tours to personalized itineraries, we’ve worked hard to make sure every traveler feels cared for and supported along the way.
A Home for Stories: Café del Mundo has remained a space for sharing stories, friendships, and celebrating the joy of traveling. Whether it’s a spontaneous coffee conversation, an interview, or just small talk on the streets, every moment has added to the magic.
A Shared Mission: Together with our sister restaurant, Tambo, we’ve created a space where travelers can explore the best of Bolivia through food, cultural events, and unforgettable experiences.
